Originally established as an EPC specialist, our client now operates under a Build, Own, Operate model—driving long-term decarbonisation through next-generation anaerobic digestion and energy recovery assets.

Backed by strategic investment, technical depth, and a strong delivery record, this organisation is developing next-generation anaerobic digestion and waste-to-energy projects that transform infrastructure into impact. With one flagship facility entering design, construction and commissioning there are two additional projects under active construction, and 12 more in development, this is a rare opportunity to engineer impact at scale.

The global biogas market is projected to reach $78B by 2032, and Australia's renewable waste-to-energy sector specifically, anticipated growth is from $900m to $2.1B by 2033.

This role places you at the heart of a movement where infrastructure meets innovation—and every project powers communities while reclaiming waste.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Process Engineer to lead across FEED, detailed design, commissioning, and operational optimisation. You'll collaborate with a Perth-based engineering team and international design partners, owning outcomes and shaping internal standards from the ground up.

This isn't just a technical role—it's a strategic platform to drive innovation, influence process architecture, and help scale a portfolio that's redefining how waste becomes energy.

Responsibilities
  • Design & optimise anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, and energy recovery systems
  • Process Design and Flow Optimisation for gas production
  • Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance modelling
  • Collaborate across engineering, operations, and commercial teams
  • Drive innovation in process standards and documentation
You'll Bring
  • 5+ years in, wastewater, or renewable energy
  • Biogas, anaerobic digestion, biomass highly desired
  • Proven design and commissioning experience
  • Chemical Engineering qualifications
  • Flexibility to travel across Australia to support projects as required
