Job Opportunity

The Corporate Finance division in Adelaide is seeking an experienced professional to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a background in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency (approximately 1-2 years).

Our team brings extensive experience across a wide range of industries, working with businesses of all sizes. As a key team member, you will assist with financial modelling, live business transactions, financial due diligence, and strategic business advice.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Modelling: Analyse and interpret large datasets to develop robust financial models, budgets, and forecasts for clients.
  2. Business Sales and Acquisitions: Assist partners/principals with business sales and acquisitions including financial due diligence and preparation of Information Memorandums.
  3. Business Valuations: Prepare business valuations to support client growth strategies.
  4. Strategic Business Investigations: Support partners/principals with strategic business investigations and analysis.
  5. Covenant Reporting: Prepare covenant reporting to commercial banks to ensure compliance with loan agreements.
  6. Client Advice: Provide insightful, strategic advice that shapes the future of our clients' businesses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 1-2 years in an accounting-related role (experience in Corporate Finance, Business Advisory, Audit, or Insolvency is ideal).
  • Currently studying for CA qualifications.
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R being highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret Financial Statements.
  • High levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborative skills with colleagues and clients, along with a dedicated work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with report-writing experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data to develop solutions.
