Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality medical care to residents in our aged care facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
  • Manage and dress wounds, prevent infections, and promote proper wound healing.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
  • Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions.
  • Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies.
  • Prepare for and handle medical emergencies, coordinating the response as necessary.
  • Provide comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with colleagues and residents.
  • Adaptable and passionate about delivering high-quality care.
