Trucking Operations Specialist

As a skilled and experienced trucking operations specialist, you will be responsible for transporting bulk petroleum across various regions of Australia.

We are seeking a professional who can develop positive relationships with customers and team members while ensuring a safe and reliable service. Our drivers are highly skilled and equipped with the latest technology to guarantee a seamless experience.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current MC License, Dangerous Goods Licence, and have triple Road Train operating experience as well as mechanical experience.

Responsibilities
  • Loading, transporting and unloading bulk petroleum products
  • Conducting daily prestart and WHS checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Carrying out instructions from depot managers for daily duties, trip sheets and timeframes including work diaries and fatigue management
  • Maintaining safety and compliance, adhering to Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle Requirements at all times
Qualifications
  • Triple Road train operating experience
  • Current MC licence
  • Dangerous Goods Licence and experience handling hazardous materials
  • Experience working in remote areas of Australia
  • Mechanical expertise
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of current Work Health and Safety regulations and safe vehicle operation practices
  • Ability to pass a National Police check and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment prior to employment
