Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key part of the food service supply chain, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming supplies, equipment, and materials in accordance with established procedures and inventory management systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming supplies, equipment, and materials in accordance with established procedures and inventory management systems.
  • Conducting regular inventory counts, performing stock checks, and updating records to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
  • Preparing shipments, packing items securely, and arranging for their dispatch based on requisitions or orders, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Coordinating with logistics teams to manage transportation, distribution, and tracking of materials to various locations as per mission requirements.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse, including handling materials safely, following safety protocols, and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials and performing loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen
  • Possess an active US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must have an understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
