The role is responsible for developing, planning, and coordinating strategic events to raise CareSouth's brand awareness, promote services, support clients, and connect with the community.

This varied role spans small and large-scale events for diverse purposes across CareSouth's footprint, working with internal and external stakeholders, including local communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing fundraising campaigns, sourcing donations, sponsorships, merchandise, and gifts to support relevant events, programs, and departments.
  • Building relationships with suppliers, customers, partners, and clients to drive stakeholder engagement and support.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events and experiences.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on event outcomes and stakeholder engagement metrics.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in event management or a similar discipline, or proven work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, and evaluating small- and large-scale events, both internal and external.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to present solutions and use initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective, collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to continuous learning.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
