Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with colleagues and management to solve problems and improve quality and service.
  • Work with the team to execute functions and events for customers.
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs, aiming to exceed these requirements.
  • Provide exceptional quality and consistent service throughout the event.
  • Assist in achieving business goals and objectives set out by management.
  • Set up and pack down of function spaces.
  • Lead the team to work efficiently, ensuring perfect execution of the event from setup to pack down.
Key Qualities:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent supportive and leadership skills.
  • Experience in rostering and people development.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • A professional, upbeat, and friendly personality.
  • An exceptional attention to detail.
  • A positive and flexible attitude.
  • The highest level of presentation and grooming standards.
  • Fantastic people management skills and a professional nature.
  • The confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn.
  • Honest and results-focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed.
  • Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas.
