As a Project Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading engineering infrastructure services and advice to project delivery teams and external contractors to develop and deliver Major Transmission Lines and Substation projects.
You will coordinate activities to provide engineering input and advice to support allocated HV transmission line and substation infrastructure construction projects.

The OpportunityBased in our office, you will be part of a dedicated major project delivery team working with engineering project teams and external construction partners to support the successful delivery of critical and complex HV transmission lines and substation focussed projects.
This role requires regular travel to regional Queensland construction sites.
Required Skills and QualificationsWith your professional experience in coaching and mentoring of personnel in the delivery of engineering services for major infrastructure projects, you will have gained relevant skills and knowledge in areas such as:
- Overhead Transmission Line High Voltage Electrical Engineering;
- High Voltage Transmission Line and Substation Civil / Structural Engineering;
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, Australian and International Standards.

- Tenacity and initiative to work through complex engineering solutions and issues focused on optimised and efficient delivery;
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, achieving success through broad collaboration, consultation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Qualifications: Relevant degree qualification in engineering or proven experience in engineering, project management, or other relevant technical roles, preferably within the energy, infrastructure, or transmission sectors.
