Speech Pathologist Opportunity

Join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with their speech, language and communication needs.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings across South Australia, including schools and preschools. You will be working alongside experienced speech pathologists who are committed to providing high-quality services that make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

As a Speech Pathologist in this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualised plans, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to support learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic services
  • Contribute to research, service development and ongoing evaluation of services

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in speech pathology (essential)
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (essential)
  • Current driver's licence
  • Demonstrated experience and/or transferable skills and knowledge in working with children and young people with a range of needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practice
  • A commitment to continuous professional development

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment and undertake RRHAN – EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course.
