As a Medical Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a vital role in ensuring their journey through our practice is smooth and efficient.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional front desk services, greeting patients with a warm smile and welcoming them to our practice
- Assist patients with enquiring information, direct calls and handle correspondence on behalf of doctors and other medical staff
- Process patient information using advanced medical software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Manage payments, billing and claims processing, working closely with insurance providers to ensure seamless transactions
- Prepare reports and communicate with healthcare providers via secure electronic platforms
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a medical administration or coordination role, ideally in a cardiac diagnostic practice
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, staff and external partners
- Proficiency in Zedmed software and other relevant systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
