We are seeking a skilled Governance Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about governance and secretariat support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ",">
  • Provide high-level governance and secretariat support to senior program and project-level forums",">
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality meeting packs, including agendas, briefing notes, papers, minutes, actions, memoranda, submissions and presentations",">
  • Coordinate governance reporting requirements across the program, collating and distributing timely reports, briefings, presentations and information papers with accuracy and integrity",">
  • Maintain governance registers, including minutes, actions and decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability",">
  • Support the development, review and improvement of governance frameworks, and contribute to the establishment of new governance bodies",">
  • Monitor compliance with governance processes, escalating risks or issues where required",">
  • Work collaboratively with senior managers, project teams and external stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and streamline information flows",">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to senior governance forums, a strong understanding of corporate governance processes, frameworks, reporting and compliance requirements, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prepare documentation tailored to different audiences.
