Transport leadership roles play a vital part in our organisation's overall strategy.
As State Transport Carrier Operations Leader VIC/TAS, you will be responsible for leading the state transport management of our 3PL partners across the program.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrier Relationship Management
- Operational Efficiency
- Carrier Safety and Compliance
- Continuous Improvement
- Financial Management
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience within a transport operations function with carrier management
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility, safety, transport regulations, legislation and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage and develop key carrier relationships
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Valid Driver's licence as travel across the network is required
This role offers a challenging opportunity to lead and drive improvements in our transportation operations.
Key areas of focus include ensuring best-in-class safety, service, and cost are achieved in line with KPI targets across the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing and developing carrier relationships, with a focus on operational efficiency and safety.
