Payroll Specialist

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll management, with a strong focus on legislative and award compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of long service leave, bonuses, and termination payments.
- Liaise with management and staff regarding pay enquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Manage HR3 payroll system and SAP experience would be highly beneficial.
- Review all new starter paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process Centrelink PPL, child support, and other statutory deductions.
- Calculate and reconcile group payroll tax.
Additional responsibilities include teaching and mentoring one direct report, as well as providing ad hoc reporting as required.

Key Responsibilities:Payroll Management:Coordinate and manage the weekly and fortnightly group payroll function for a large business of 500+ staff.
Statutory Compliance:Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory entitlements, including long service leave, bonuses, and termination payments.
Payroll System Administration:Manage the HR3 payroll system, with SAP experience being highly beneficial.
Reporting and Analysis:Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
Team Leadership:Teach and mentor one direct report, promoting their growth and development.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
