Lead Flock Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the health and wellbeing of our poultry flock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness, disinfection, washing and maintenance of sheds
  • Setup and operation of catch equipment, bird catching and loading during depopulation
  • Daily checks on bird welfare, including feed, water, and environment
  • Shed preparation and management, chick placement and bird transfer to growing facilities
  • Maintenance of farm equipment, machinery and infrastructure

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience working with live poultry in a farm setting
  • Familiarity with farm machinery such as telehandlers, skid-steers and tractors
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor and repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and awareness of animal welfare
  • Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently or in a team
