Contract Administrator Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior contract administrator position as part of a leading resources business.

The position involves ensuring the successful execution and performance of complex contract agreements across capital projects. Key responsibilities include managing contract administration, technical support for the group, developing robust systems and processes for efficient contract management, and providing expert contract administration advice to contract managers and other contract administrators.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate and complete records of business activities, analyzing contract performance data to generate regular reports to leaders on contract performance, highlighting expenditure and key performance indicators, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between contractual requirements and operational execution.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage contract administration and technical support for the Group.
  • Develop and implement robust systems and processes for the efficient administration of contracts and contractors.
  • Provide expert contract administration advice to contract managers and other contract administrators.
  • Accountable for keeping accurate and complete records of business activities.
  • Analyse contract performance data to generate regular reports to leaders on contract performance, highlighting expenditure and key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, finance and procurement, to ensure alignment between contractual requirements and operational execution.
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in Contract Administration/Management in an infrastructure or construction project environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing capital works contract agreements.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Sound understanding of probity and conflicts of interest.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
