Job Overview

The Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant is responsible for bridging the gap between business and technical teams, providing solutions to complex Workday intersystem problems.

  • Become a Workday Payroll product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Utilize expertise to recommend the best solution based on client requirements, timeframe, and flexibility to adapt scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Guide customers through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and understanding of customer's unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Regularly engage and support clients through all phases of the project, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday Payroll.
  • Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, while regularly keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Collaborate with integration team to configure and test integrations between the Workday solution and client's selected payroll and benefits providers.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Knowledge of human resources, payroll, and financial software is highly desired.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Minimal travel required but must be willing to travel on-site if needed.
