Job Summary

The Site Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering the NBN NSW N2P project, enhancing digital connectivity for communities across the country.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule construction activities.
  • Manage BOQ and BOM, ensuring accurate systems updates and reconciliations in line with construction progress.
  • Coordinate traffic management and council approvals.
  • Oversee defect closure and site restoration.
  • Support procurement and financial reconciliation.
  • Participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learnt workshops.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management (relevant experience also considered).
  • Relevant experience in telecommunications or civil construction (Telco experience; Optus, Telstra, NBN highly regarded).
  • Exposure to field operations and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and MS Project.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Key Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in telecommunications or civil construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
