Job Overview

The role of a Site Engineer is pivotal in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects.

This exciting opportunity enables individuals to join a skilled team working on one of Australia's most significant fibre upgrades, enhancing digital connectivity for communities nationwide.

As a Site Engineer, you will collaborate with the Project Engineer and broader team to manage work packages, ensuring delivery meets scope, quality, and expectations.

  • Planning and scheduling construction activities
  • Accurately updating and reconciling systems, such as the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Coordinating traffic management and council approvals
  • Overseeing defect closure and site restoration
  • Supporting procurement and financial reconciliation
  • Participating in safety inspections and toolbox talks
  • Driving continuous improvement through lessons learnt workshops
Key Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management qualification
  • Relevant experience in telecommunications or civil construction
  • Exposure to field operations and project coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and MS Project
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
