You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support Residential Aged Care, Home Care, and Independent Living services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Policy Development: Developing and implementing wound, continence care, and infection control policies and practices.
  • Clinical Leadership: Providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to healthcare professionals, older people, and families.
  • Mentorship: Serving as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Nursing Qualifications: Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by NMBA & Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Aged Care Experience: Demonstrated NP experience in aged care with wound specialty.
  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in nursing (Master's degree or higher).
  • Clinical Experience: Min 10 years clinical nursing experience, ideally in wound and pressure injury prevention.
