Aged Care Clinical Lead

Are you a skilled healthcare professional looking to take on a leadership role in aged care? This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement contemporary evidence-based practices in wound, continence care, and infection control.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading teams, developing policies, and providing expert clinical guidance. A strong understanding of strategic capabilities and entrepreneurial approaches is essential for success in this role.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support Residential Aged Care, Home Care, and Independent Living services. Key responsibilities include:
- Policy Development: Developing and implementing wound, continence care, and infection control policies and practices.
- Clinical Leadership: Providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to healthcare professionals, older people, and families.
- Mentorship: Serving as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Nursing Qualifications: Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by NMBA & Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Aged Care Experience: Demonstrated NP experience in aged care with wound specialty.
- Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in nursing (Master's degree or higher).
- Clinical Experience: Min 10 years clinical nursing experience, ideally in wound and pressure injury prevention.
