Clinical Leadership Opportunity

As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for leading the clinical operations of an aged care facility in Adelaide. You will be part of a well-established provider that offers opportunities for growth and development to its employees.

A strong support structure is in place from the Facility Manager, Quality, and another Clinical Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor care staff, fostering a positive team culture and supporting professional growth.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
  • Manage resources effectively to maintain quality care and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct routine assessments and audits to uphold high standards of service delivery.
  • Respond to and resolve concerns or complaints from residents, families, or staff with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or similar senior clinical role within aged care.
  • Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of risk management, incident reporting, and infection prevention and control practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving improvements.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in aged care, health management, or clinical leadership (desirable but not essential).
