About the Role

  • The Equipment Service Technician provides exceptional service to our customers by maintaining and repairing a range of diesel and petrol-powered equipment to exacting standards.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to required standards, ensuring our customers receive reliable and fit-for-purpose plant and equipment.
  • Perform servicing maintenance on customer sites as required, documenting work to render equipment serviceable in accordance with Kennards 'Ready for Hire' Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards.
  • Prepare documentation for all servicing and maintenance performed for compliance record-keeping purposes.

About You

  • You'll be a trade-qualified professional, such as a diesel mechanic, diesel fitter, light vehicle mechanic, small engine mechanic, electrician, or similar tradesperson.
  • With at least 3 years' experience in the field, you'll possess a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions, working both collaboratively and autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes.
  • You'll have strong communication skills, including the ability to follow directions, ask questions, and provide information to team members.
  • A valid driver's license and physical fitness are also essential requirements for this role.
