The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based in Dandenong. As a Field Service Technician, you will provide diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment, ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
- Ensuring work sites are kept tidy and all paperwork is up to date.
- Conducting work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
- Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.
- OEM equipment experience highly regarded.
- Current driver's license.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and customer service etiquette.
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
