Product Range Optimization Specialist

The Product Range Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving category performance against financial and KPI targets. Their primary responsibility is to maximize customer engagement and satisfaction through in-stock, promotion or range optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mutual interests with the broader commercial strategy.
  • Embark on regular analytical reporting to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Conduct weekly shop visits to observe and discuss stock position, customer demographics, range, and promotional opportunities.
  • Provide timely and accurate category updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • E nsure consistent high standards of customer service by maximizing the customer experience and ensuring the range is store-appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in product coordination, strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive product knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to identify market trends.
  • Financial analysis skills and the ability to develop, read, and interpret financial reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP/R3 (Retail) or similar ERP system.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant work experience).
