Job Opportunity:

Seek a skilled Production Scheduling Specialist to design and maintain efficient production plans for lubricant blending, filling, and packaging operations.

This role involves collaborating with production, procurement, logistics, and other stakeholders to meet customer orders on time, ensure material availability, and optimize production resources while minimizing downtime and costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and issue short-term (daily/weekly) production schedules for blending and packaging.
  • Sequence production runs to optimize line efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery requirements, adjusting for urgent orders, supply disruptions, or equipment downtime.
  • Review inventory levels to ensure base oils, additives, and packaging materials are available for scheduled production.
  • Manage raw material call-offs in alignment with the production plan to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages and align plans with manpower and equipment capacity.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks to the planning team or customer deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and track KPIs (schedule adherence, service levels, downtime impact).
  • Provide regular updates to operations and supply chain management; participate in cross-functional meetings to improve planning processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, improve accuracy, and increase service levels.
  • Support initiatives to streamline scheduling tools and practices; participate in site stock take activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain coordination.
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • ERP/MRP proficiency for production scheduling.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles (materials planning, inventory control, lead times).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable production plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; problem-solving for scheduling challenges.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset for continuous process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in lubricant or automotive-related activities or FMCG.
  • Understanding of production processes in lubricants (batch sequencing, blending, filling, packaging).
