Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team. As a member of our prestigious local government contract in Melbourne's CBD, you will be responsible for performing daily work schedules, investigating and resolving customer drainage issues, inspecting and cleaning drainage pits, and operating various vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work schedules efficiently

  • Analyze and resolve customer complaints regarding drainage services

  • Inspect and manually clean drainage pits to ensure optimal performance

  • Undertake pit repairs, including lid/surround replacements and minor pit maintenance

  • Operate Vac Trucks for drain cleaning and hydro excavation tasks

  • Provide effective pedestrian and traffic control measures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid Heavy Rigid driver's license

  • Experience with jetting and vacuum operations

  • Proficiency in NDD procedures

  • ESV Spotters certification (desired)

  • Level 2 First Aid certification (desired)

  • Traffic Control training (desired)

  • Confined Spaces training (desired)

  • A current Working with Children Card
