Technology and Media Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
About the Role:- This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experts in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT).
- As a member of this team, you will collaborate with colleagues across our national offices to maintain a strong presence in the Australian market.
- Telecommunications and data centres – project management, regulatory compliance, M&A transactions.
- Data & AI – governance, regulatory advice, compliance, investments.
- Cyber – incident response, law enforcement engagement, regulatory advice.
- Outsourcing – technology and business process outsourcing.
- Corporate – business separations, systems integrations, carve outs.
- Digital transformation projects.
- Startups and Innovation – advisory, transactions, capital raises.
- Media – regulatory matters, broadcasting rights.
- Experience in a TMT team within a top-tier law firm, focusing on TMT work.
- Knowledge of Australian privacy, data protection, and cyber laws.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating IT/telecommunications contracts, preferably in a common law jurisdiction.
- Ability to handle both small and large matters effectively.
- A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
