Senior Financial Manager

Job Summary
The Australian National University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead the Residential Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the University's student accommodation, comprising 10 ANU residences and 4 Uni Lodge-managed residences with a combined total of around 6,500 beds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, integrity of financial data and reports, and continual improvement of financial controls and processes.
- Collaborate with executive staff in the Residential Experience Division to ensure the Residential Finance team appropriately supports the strategy and objectives of that division.
- Ensure non-finance staff within the residences are appropriately trained to perform financial activities that fall within their responsibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading a finance team and managing financial operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive staff and non-finance staff.
