Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records related to health and safety, including incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to WHS legislations and requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety policies and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and standards.
- Promote a positive safety culture within the organization by coordinating safety communications and initiatives.
- Support the safety team with the reporting and documenting of workplace incidents, accidents, injuries, or near misses, and completion of risk assessments and hazard identification.
- WHS tertiary qualification (i.e. Cert III or Cert IV) or equivalent.
- Knowledge and awareness of WHS legislation, codes of practice, processes and procedures.
- Understanding of safety management systems and assurance, risk assessment, and hazard management practices in an operational environment.
- Well-developed communications and stakeholder engagement skills with a passion for learning and delivering business outcomes.
