Job Description

Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney is seeking an exceptional Physics Teacher to join our Science faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in Term 1.

  • Deliver engaging NSW syllabus Physics lessons to Years 11–12 and IGCSE Physics to Years 9–10; potential future teaching of AS/A-level Physics.
  • Design and deliver high-quality NSW syllabus Science lessons to Years 7–10.
  • Create and implement engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences; foster critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs; support students across achievement levels.
  • Utilise modern educational technologies and laboratory equipment to enhance hands-on learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant university degree and teaching qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at secondary level with strong academic results.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NSW syllabus and its assessment strategies.
