Senior Improvement Partner

The Senior Improvement Partner is a key member of the Continuous Improvement team at Eastern Health, one of Melbourne's largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.
The Senior Improvement Partner will partner with Eastern Health's leadership team to facilitate and guide a culture for continuous improvement across the organization. This includes developing and implementing the continuous improvement capability building framework, including performance standards, tools and techniques.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in redesign and improvement methodologies, with a specific focus on lean methods and tools including A3 thinking. They will also have experience in delivering successful change in a complex healthcare environment, training and coaching senior staff in improvement, project and change management, and leading a team and service.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in successfully leading and embedding change within and across teams, as well as a strong understanding of measurement and monitoring for safety and quality. They will also have superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and be self-motivated and able to work under pressure both independently and within a team.
