Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations by promptly addressing system faults of both technical and operational nature.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting faults in automated material handling equipment within a fast-paced production environment. You will efficiently resolve machine faults using logical problem-solving techniques, even at heights of up to 30 meters while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, Operating, and Troubleshooting Faults: Ensure the smooth operation of automated material handling equipment by identifying and resolving faults in a timely manner.
  • Logical Problem-Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex machine faults, even at heights of up to 30 meters.
  • Data Interpretation and Maintenance: Accurately interpret and maintain data and fault information using literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Housekeeping and Hygiene: Uphold high standards of housekeeping and hygiene to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintenance Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure machines remain in optimal condition.
  • Safety Guidelines: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.
