The primary role of the Case Support Worker is to provide direct support to adult and child victim-survivors of family violence. This includes maintaining accurate client records, coordinating referrals, managing correspondence, and assisting with data and reporting.
The Case Support Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery by streamlining administrative processes, helping to build a comprehensive picture of client circumstances, and enabling Case Managers to focus on direct client support.
Required Skills and QualificationsYou will hold a certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development, or a related field.
- A foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics, and impacts of family violence
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop skills in work with adults, young people, and children from diverse backgrounds facing a range of complex challenges in relation to family violence, homelessness, health, and mental health, drug and alcohol use, trauma, and marginalization
