Key to a successful organization is a strong cybersecurity framework. Buscojobs is looking for an accomplished Cyber Operations Director to drive the advancement of our client's cyber defence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive Cyber Resilience Operations Strategy that meets business goals, regulatory requirements, and adapts to the evolving threat landscape.
  2. Maintain and enhance the incident response framework to ensure plans and processes remain effective and compliant.
  3. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Centre (SOC) and ensure incident response targets and service levels are achieved.
  4. Direct and guide investigations of security alerts across various platforms, including antivirus, IPS, firewall logs, DLP incidents, proxy data, and threat intelligence feeds.
  5. Drive ongoing improvement of SOC tooling and automation, including SIEM, EDR, and related technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
  1. Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  2. Leadership and motivational ability in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  3. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or related industry certifications.
