This role is part of a collaborative culture where staff work together to achieve student outcomes. Your ability to manage small groups, one-on-one and whole class activities will be essential in supporting students with special needs.
The West Coast Language Development Centre is a specialist school providing early intervention for children with developmental language disorder. Our school fosters a team approach, where staff actively work together to ensure student success. As an Education Assistant - Special Needs, you will assist teachers with lesson plans, implement individualised education programs, and communicate with parents, teachers, and community members.

- Ability to assist professionals in implementing and evaluating education programs
- Knowledge and understanding of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents
