">Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Guide and support Student Progress Officers in delivering exceptional case management and student support services
    • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching feedback and professional development opportunities
    • Optimise workload allocation, ensuring balanced caseloads and timely follow up of student matters
    • Cultivate a culture of accountability, student-centric service, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Monitor student progress data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement
    • Compile reports on intervention activity, student outcomes, and compliance metrics for senior leaders
    • Utilise data insights to inform strategic decision making and drive enhancements in intervention strategies
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all intervention processes, meetings, and course variations align with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of documentation across the team
    • Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-risk student cases, ensuring appropriate resolution and compliance
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
    • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Operations Team, academic staff, compliance, wellbeing, and other teams
    • Represent the Intervention function in internal forums and working groups
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on intervention processes, compliance requirements, and best practices
    • Review and refine intervention frameworks, processes, and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
    • Lead initiatives to improve early identification and support of students at risk
    • Contribute to broader student success and retention strategies across the organisation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within student services, case management, or academic support
  • Strong understanding of course progress monitoring, intervention requirements, and compliance obligations in the education sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and build staff capability
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with experience using data to inform decision making and reporting
  • Proficiency in student management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage sensitive student matters with discretion and professionalism
