Job Title

Enterprise Storage Engineer – Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to drive our Enterprise Storage strategy, design and management across data centres and clinics.

  • This role involves leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of SAN/NAS storage solutions and VMware-based virtualisation environments.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT systems, designing infrastructure solutions, and implementing automation tools to improve operational efficiency.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Enterprise Storage services including SAN, NAS, and related fabric switches.
  • Design, implement, and maintain VMware environments, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and Horizon VDI.
  • Promote automation using PowerCLI and other scripting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring, timely incident response, and root cause analysis to implement permanent corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise storage technologies, including SAN/NAS storage solutions and VMware-based virtualisation environments.
  • Experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining complex IT systems.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages, such as PowerCLI.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
