We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Partner for People and Culture to join our team at Tal Services Limited. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in supporting our senior leaders and people managers across the business to drive business outcomes through effective people programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Partnership: Work closely with our People and Culture team to implement our People Priorities as part of our strategic operating plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Relationship Building: Build trusted relationships with business unit partners to ensure people programs and activities are respected, add value, and drive business outcomes.
- Change Management: Support the business in delivering strategic change initiatives, including structural and cultural change programs that align to business priorities and needs.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage the technical competence of colleagues in the People and Culture team to deliver best-in-class people solutions to the business.
- Communication and Planning: Plan and communicate strategic, tactical, and business-as-usual people activities in a practical and common-sense way to ensure business engagement and mitigate disruption.
- Event Management: Deliver the annual events – remuneration review, performance management, talent and succession management, development planning – in a timely way.
- Performance and Talent Management: Complete an ongoing review of the interdependencies between performance and talent management strategies and translate these into actions at a macro and micro level.
- Stakeholder Management: Have strong networks and outstanding stakeholder management skills to collaborate with and draw on expertise across the People and Culture function.
- Culture and Compliance: Actively build and promote a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness and appreciation within the People & Culture team.
- ER/IR Support: Work with the People and Culture Consulting team to drive and deliver appropriate ER/IR outcomes in partnership with the business as appropriate.
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience partnering with executives and senior business leaders to deliver on business priorities
- Business Acumen: Proven ability partnering and supporting large scale business areas with high volume frontline teams such as call centres and sales
- Change Management: Significant experience in managing people related change programs including structural and cultural change programs
- Consulting and Influencing Skills: Proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with key partners, sound consulting, influencing and problem solving skills
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Insurance Industry/Financial Services, desired
