Riggers Wanted for Major Agricultural Project

Our client is seeking experienced and reliable Riggers to assist with a significant project in South Australia. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of silo components and equipment.

About the Role:
  • This position involves reviewing construction plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work and equipment requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and inspecting rigging equipment, such as slings, chains, and cables, to ensure their safety and suitability for use.
  • The main responsibilities include rigging and hoisting components into place, such as silo walls, roofs, and conveyors, using cranes and other lifting equipment.
  • The chosen applicant must ensure that all rigging operations are conducted in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Rigger on construction projects, preferably with agricultural or industrial sector experience.
  • Certification as a Rigger, i.e., EWP, RB/RI/RA.
  • A strong knowledge of rigging equipment and techniques, as well as relevant health and safety regulations.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A willingness to work away from home.
