About the Position

This Technology Project Manager (TPM) delivers project outcomes related to installation of road enforcement technical infrastructure, by developing, maintaining, and implementing standards and specifications for detection and enforcement technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Prepare quality tender documentation for major projects.
    • Undertake on-site feasibility assessments for installations.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical expert advice.
    • Contribute to informed decision-making processes based on evidence.
  • Project Monitoring and Control
    • Attend civil project sites to provide monitoring of work progress.
    • Attend the first shift of new projects, this will require doing a night shift once per month from 8/9pm – 3am at the latest (penalty rates will apply).
  • WHS and Compliance
    • Ensure all project staff on sites adhere to WHS standards.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate and liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience with managing multiple geographically distinct sites simultaneously, ensuring consistent delivery of shared project outcomes.
  • Experience with managing conflicting agendas across various project stakeholders.
  • Proven experience completing end-to-end procurement documentation and processes.
  • Proven experience project managing civil construction teams.
  • Deliver projects that are highly visible to the community.
  • Experience with Project Hub and/or Safety Culture platforms.
  • Experience with civil traffic works, red light cameras, speed cameras (highly desirable).
  • Alternately, experience project managing with the NBN, CCTV or similar would also be well regarded.
