About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects with a focus on OKTA, Document Storage System (DSS) and Azure cloud services using.NET.

As our Technology Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, quality assurance, vendors and delivery partners, to align project goals and deliverables ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee and drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects involving Azure, Okta, and Osko platforms.
  • End-to-End Management: Lead technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring that planning, execution, and delivery processes are effectively managed.
  • Prioritisation: Work closely with the wider project team and business experts to prioritise and track tasks ensuring the right activity is taking place at the right time.
  • Risk and Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues early, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and support to the project team, assisting with problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with vendors and delivery partners to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates, progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Status Reporting: Conduct regular project status meetings, delivering detailed reports and updates to project sponsors and stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project.
Requirements

You will bring proven experience (5+ years minimum) in managing technology projects, with a strong background in cloud services, software development, or IT infrastructure. You are adept at driving projects in a complex environment, balancing multiple priorities, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience of projects focusing on OKTA, DSS and/or Azure cloud services using.NET is highly regarded.

As well as:

  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of the technologies involved in our projects, such as software development, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.
  • Leadership: A natural leader who can motivate teams, make strategic decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and developing effective solutions quickly.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to articulate project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated experience in managing project risks, including dependency management and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a transformation environment, making decisions under pressure, and managing multiple projects with shifting priorities.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Skilled in using project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and familiar with software development best practices.
  • Tech Savvy: Experienced with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Confluence, JIRA) and familiar with governance and regulatory environments.
Desirable Qualifications

Formal training in project methodologies (PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plus but not mandatory.
