Field Service Technician - Forklift Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Gladstone. As a specialist in forklift maintenance, you will be responsible for performing routine service checks, diagnosing and repairing faults on forklifts and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A current driver's licence and relevant trade qualification are essential requirements for this role.

About the Role

  • Performing routine service checks and maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and support
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current driver's licence
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
