You will manage complex/sensitive/high-risk financial lines claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
As a senior member of the team, you'll provide expert technical advice and guidance to junior colleagues, enhancing their skills and contributing to excellent commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage multiple financial lines claims portfolios end-to-end.
- Provide specialist technical advice on policy coverage, liability, quantum, strategy, and reserving.
- Maintain accurate claim reserves according to industry guidelines and practices.
- Offer feedback to underwriters and claims managers on issues identified during claims management.
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge to stay up-to-date with market trends.
- Contribute to the development of the team's market profile through exceptional claims service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in Financial Lines/Professional Indemnity Claims.
- Prior experience mentoring junior claims staff in technical claims roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance (such as Diploma in Financial Services General Insurance) are highly regarded.
