Research Assistant Position

The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting Clinical Research Centre staff with administrative activities associated with research projects.

This role may involve working across several teams under the guidance of a Senior member of the Clinical Research Centre staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Study Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators with research project activities.
  • Organising priorities and working independently or as part of a team within their level of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in science or related paramedical fields, clinical trials knowledge and experience.

We are looking for someone with excellent time management, organisation and written and oral communication skills.

A strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice, NHMRC National Statement, The NHMRC Code of Conduct for Researchers and Shipping and Handling of Dangerous Goods is also essential.

In addition, we require candidates to have experience in recruitment, scheduling visits and following study protocols, as well as the ability to work without supervision and effectively in a group setting.
