Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Transfusion Scientist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional service excellence and collaborate with partners to promote scientific and clinical education.

The primary focus of this position is to coordinate with hospital blood banks and pathology service partners in the region. You will be responsible for gathering and articulating customer insights to ensure delivery of a trusted partner experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Science, Medical Science, or Biomedical Science
  • Knowledge and expertise in transfusion science
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Expertise in analyzing problems and developing practical solutions
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Comfortable traveling to Metro and Regional NSW
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sector influences including ANZSBT and PBM Guidelines
