Seeking a dedicated Research Associate to contribute to an interdisciplinary project focusing on the impact of redox conditions on emerging contaminants.

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set in microbiology, biogeochemistry, and analytical chemistry. They will be part of a dynamic research team collaborating with leading academics from various institutions.

In this role, you will develop your research skills and output by contributing to scientific papers, participating in conferences, and engaging with industry partners. You will report to Professor Denis O'Carroll and have no direct reports.

**About the Role**

  • A PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience is required.
  • Proven commitment to staying up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision is necessary.
  • A strong track record of publications and conference presentations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills are required.
