Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Import/Export Coordinator to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our global supply chain, you will be responsible for executing import and export activities in accordance with PPD requirements, client needs, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute import and export activities in accordance with PPD requirements, client needs, and applicable regulations.
  • Develop and implement import and export/trade compliance plans for assigned projects.
  • Perform logistics and administrative activities as needed to support department growth.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager to discuss import and export issues and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in ongoing training on new regulations concerning import/export and GMP activities.
  • Maintain import/export documentation files and updated PPD-owned metrics indicators reports.
Requirements
  • Intermediate English language skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of the clinical supply process, including manufacturing, handling, importing, shipping, exporting, auditing, labeling, and packaging.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with moderate direct supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Adaptive to changes and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
