The role of a Bar Manager is pivotal in the success of any hospitality establishment. As a seasoned leader, you will drive and develop your team to achieve exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategically leading the beverage program to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Assessing performance against set objectives, formulating strategies to address underperformance and implementing solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop business ideas and growth opportunities.
- Recruiting, training, and rostering Front of House staff to meet operational needs.
- Managing systems and point-of-sale operations efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of production from the bar and kitchen areas.
- Participating in relevant sub-committees to enhance workplace safety, sustainability, and food safety practices.
- Meeting or exceeding targets for wage and beverage costs.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Excellent personal presentation and image projection.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with colleagues and build cooperative working relationships.
- Willingness to undertake further development and training.
- Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of working in the events industry.
