Job Description

We are seeking skilled Diesel and General Mechanics to fill various positions across Regional NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve Safe Work practices through continuous development.
  • Work within established workshop rules and regulations at all times.
  • Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and service fleet equipment efficiently.
  • Work effectively under tight schedules while upholding the highest standards.
  • Support planning and maintaining service schedules for optimal efficiency.
  • Take ownership of major repairs, working efficiently in a clean and safe environment.
  • Carry out tasks to the highest standard possible.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments on vehicles as required, including completion of relevant documentation.
  • Perform all activities in a safe manner.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years experience as a general Mechanic is required.
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems is necessary.
  • Truck servicing ability is highly regarded.
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles is essential.
  • The ability to follow direction and work autonomously is crucial.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Physical fitness for heavy work is necessary.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is vital.
  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment Highly regarded.
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety is expected.
