Job Role

We are seeking experienced Diesel and General Mechanics to work in Regional NSW.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement, with the ability to work within workshop rules and regulations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and other equipment.
  • Service and maintain fleet equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work to tight schedules while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules.
  • Own major repairs and work efficiently in a clean and safe environment.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments on vehicles as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a general Mechanic.
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
  • Truck servicing ability.
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit for heavy work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment Highly regarded.
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge.
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full Australian Driver's License.
