
Diesel and General Maintenance Specialist

Job Role
We are seeking experienced Diesel and General Mechanics to work in Regional NSW.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement, with the ability to work within workshop rules and regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and other equipment.
- Service and maintain fleet equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work to tight schedules while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules.
- Own major repairs and work efficiently in a clean and safe environment.
- Conduct inspections and assessments on vehicles as required.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience as a general Mechanic.
- Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension.
- Truck servicing ability.
- Experience with diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit for heavy work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving Equipment Highly regarded.
- Basic auto electrical knowledge.
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
Additional Requirements:
- Full Australian Driver's License.
