Project Support Specialist

The IST department is responsible for the development and implementation of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) solutions to improve control and decision making associated with operations, maintenance and support services.

  • The role involves supporting IST project administration systems and processes for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintaining accurate records via spreadsheets, databases and other record management systems is a key responsibility.
  • Administrative support includes report coordination, distribution and administration.
  • Coordinating team activities such as catering, travel and accommodation for project teams.
  • Meeting organization and coordination are also essential duties.
  • Providing administrative functions for senior IT staff members.
  • Performing ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Required skills include:

  • High attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of initiative, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • An eagerness to learn new skills and a positive motivated approach will ensure success.
